RE Review for May 2012
Religious Education for Children and Youth
Coming of Age Celebration
There will be a “Coming of Age” Celebration on Sunday, May 13, during the worship service. Two of our young people, Jenny R. and Marshall S, participated in this every-other year program at Evergreen. Jenny and Marshall have been working with their adult Mentors, Deb Dearie and Desmond Smith, to craft their credos (statements of their values and beliefs) which will be presented to the congregation during the Celebration. Congratulations to our young people and many thanks to their Mentors for their gifts of time and caring!
